The board and management team of ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc (ZCCM-IH) visited NFC Africa Mining Plc (NFCA), a Zambia-based subsidiary of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC), and had a discussion on cooperation with NFCA representatives on Sept. 23 local time.

NFCA Chairman Wang Jingjun, Chief Accountant Meng Yanlin, Assistant General Managers Dean Mwelwa and John Mtonga, and representatives of relevant departments attended the meeting.
During the discussion, Wang highlighted the strong partnership between NFCA and ZCCM-IH since NFCA's establishment in 1998 as well as the company's development journey from a single mine to three mines.
Noting that NFCA is now advancing the development of digital and intelligent mining capabilities, Wang stressed the importance of the long-term support from shareholders, local communities, government authorities and other stakeholders.
He said the company will continue improving its capacity to contribute to Zambia's goal of reaching annual copper production of 3 million tonnes.

Phesto Musonda, Board Chairperson of ZCCM-IH, said ZCCM-IH, as a shareholder of NFCA, has long maintained a close partnership with NFCA.
The two sides should make continued efforts to deepen exchanges and maintain regular communication, he said, adding that ZCCM-IH will continue to support NFCA's development and help create a favorable environment for its operations.

He called for joint efforts by both sides to advance Zambia's goal of producing 3 million tonnes of copper annually and expressed the expectation that the cooperation between ZCCM-IH and NFCA would extend beyond the Chambishi Copper Mine and Zambia's Copperbelt Province to create broader opportunities for in-depth collaboration.

NFCA briefed the visiting team on the background to its establishment, the company's corporate culture, human resources, project investment, contributions to local tax revenues and employment, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, as well as its production and operations in 2025 and the first half of 2026.

The two sides also exchanged views on annual dividends, investment in CSR initiatives, and other matters.
Following the discussion, Mwelwa accompanied the delegation on a tour of the production control center and concentrator of Chambishi Copper Mine's southeast orebody, providing an on-site look at the mine's production and operations.
